Reagan Milstein Foundation
The Reagan Milstein Foundation was named after a 14 year old boy who passed away in 2010. Reagan loved sports and loved to help people.
Since its launch in November 2010, RMF has commenced and assisted a number of initiatives and programs to help less fortunate children in Australia, Tonga, South Africa, Cambodia and many other countries.
The Reagan Milstein Foundation (RMF) aims to bring top local and international football academies to Australian communities and beyond.
The goal is to give young footballers opportunities that they would not
normally be exposed to.
RMF Academies also aim to make this a whole of football community approach for all levels.
Proceeds from RMF Academies go to RMF grants
to help less fortunate children play football.
When RMF academies set up the aim was to take first class football clinics out to areas of Australia where kids would not normally get these types of opportunities. We also encouraged kids to be sponsored to attend and would work with any community to try and get the best results out of such football clinics.
One of the criteria that we started with was to choose one participant that we would sponsor to go to Glasgow, Scotland for a 1 week Celtic FC experience. The Celtic FC coaches running the clinics were told to find an outstanding player over the three weeks of academies in April that was deserved of such an opportunity.
